Warning Graphic Images. Who Could Forget Our Sweet..

**WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES

Who could forget our sweet Sitthichai? This poor boy was found at a fish market with a missing paw and a horrific open fracture to what remained of his leg. Infection had set in, and he was barely able to walk.

We could see in Sitthichai’s eyes how much he had suffered during his seven years on the streets. But we’re pleased to tell you that, all thanks to support from people like you, he is now free from pain and suffering and has been given a clean bill of health by our vets!

We never want to turn away an animal in need, but the current pandemic is stretching our resources and shelter space to the limits. Please, donate today so we can increase food and medical supplies and create space for homeless animals like Sitthichai who arrive at our shelter every day: https://links.soidog.org/help-homeless-animals-now

Given the severity of Sitthichai’s injuries, our vets had no option but to amputate his leg. However, the surgical wound healed within a matter of weeks and, since then, he’s blown us away with how quickly he’s adapted to life on three legs.

Following a period of rest and recovery, Sitthichai joined a run with other dogs where he’s already made a few fellow three-legged friends and regained the sparkle in his eyes.

What’s more, Sitthichai just got the all-clear for adoption from our vets. He will need to be assessed behaviourally before we try and find him a loving home, but it’s still a huge step for this brave boy. Whatever the outcome of the assessment, we will continue to do our very best for him. Help us be there for him: https://links.soidog.org/help-homeless-animals-now
