Come Meet Garfield's Doppelganger, Jomjam!

🌟Cat of the Week🌟

This week’s featured kitty is Jomjam. Just like Garfield, he loves nothing more than lounging, lazing, snoozing and snacking!

Sadly, unlike Garfield, he wasn’t born in the kitchen of an Italian restaurant with a silver spoon of lasagna in his mouth. Instead, he had a ‘hard-knock life’ during his time on the streets of Thailand. Early 2019, a vehicle ran over this poor boy which left him with a deep wound on his face, an injured leg and a dislocated hip. Luckily, we rescued him in the nick of time.

After surgery and physiotherapy, Jomjam was soon back on his paws again. He was left with a scar and an outturned eyelid, but a few eye drops here and there keep any discomfort away.

Jomjam was really scared when he first arrived at the shelter. He was so used to roaming free so when he suddenly found himself sharing space with other cats, he lashed out at them. It’s best if Jomjam is the only cat in your home, not only because he may struggle to be around other felines, but because he’s FIV+. This only means that he may need an extra bit of help and care, but most FIV+ cats go on to live just as long as any other healthy cats.

Please don’t shy away from Jomjam because of his uniqueness. Remember #nopawsleftbehind which means Jomjam deserves to be seen and loved just like any other cat.
