This is Rufah formally known as Roofy when she was here at Soi Dog Foundation. She came to us when she was just a kitten with a painful condition that caused an inflamed right eye.

After intense care, medical treatment and lots of love from our vets and nurses, her eye improved. A year later, our Partner Rescue Homeward Trails Animal Rescue decided to help this sweet girl find a home and so she flew to the USA in 2019.

Recently, we received wonderful news and an uplifting message, which is exactly what is needed during these difficult times:

“When Roofy first came to us we had to change her name to Rufah due to the references to the drug. She was so very shy and went to foster. Since then she has become best buds with resident kitty Eve, and the fosters have loved watching her blossom. This morning they made it official. Roofy, now Rufah, is officially home. Yay!”
