Spca Needs Your Help. There Are Many Community Dog..

SPCA NEEDS YOUR HELP

There are many community dogs, sometimes referred to as street animals or strays, in Singapore. However, there is limited space in local animal shelters.

Without a street dog population control programme, many dogs will struggle to survive without proper food, healthcare and shelter.

Hence, the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) is working with the SPCA and other animal welfare groups on an islandwide Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage (TNRM) programme.

We aim to sterilise the street dogs to humanely control their population. But trapping these dogs can be difficult as they usually hide from strangers, only trusting their caregivers.

If you are a caregiver or are aware of street dogs in your area, you can help us by contacting us when you find the dog(s):

E: tnrmmanager@spca.org.sg

P: 6287 5355 Ext. 42/46

After the dogs are trapped, they will be brought to SPCA’s clinic for sterilisation and vaccinations. Once they heal, they will be released at the same location we found them. If they are suitable for rehoming, we will do our best to find them a loving home.
