Do you remember Hebe? His story was so shocking that it would be hard to forget. But in case you missed it, here is an update on this special boy, with the details of his rescue below.

Hebe was the second dog to arrive here in as many days with a shocking wound on his back. We’d received a distressed call from the person who found him, saying it looked as if he had been deliberately attacked.
An Animal Rescue Officer was immediately dispatched to pick this poor boy up and he was raced to the Soi Dog hospital. Although the wound on his back was absolutely horrendous, he was fortunate to have been found shortly after it had been inflicted and therefore infection had not yet set in.

Poor Hebe was rushed straight into surgery, where his wound was stitched up. He then needed weeks of aftercare, pain relief and antibiotics. – all of it funded by people like you. His wound is healing well but it will take a bit longer to heal his spirit. This poor boy is only about a year old. He is so lucky to be alive and fortunate that, thanks to people like you, we were able to help him. But little Hebe was one of many dogs in need to arrive that week alone.
As you read this, work continues on expanding the Soi Dog shelter so that more sick and injured homeless animals can be helped. We urgently need your help to ensure the project can be completed and that the additional space can be furnished and equipped with everything needed to help these desperately stray animals. They simply have nowhere else to go.
Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Help_for_Hebe and donate now? Your kind gift can help to expand the Soi Dog shelter so that other homeless animals can get the help they need and a safe haven in which to heal. Please give what you can now because these animals have nobody else. Thank you.
