Dragonfive, now known as Dusky, is one of the many lucky dogs who found their #furrytailending last year. This past November Dusky travelled from Phuket, Thailand all the way to the UK and has settled into his new home nicely. This handsome boy came to our shelter after being struck and injured in a road traffic accident. No one knew if he would ever fully recover. He underwent intensive physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for months, which helped relieve the pain he was suffering from the accident. We knew that Dusky would need ongoing care to continue his progress, but luckily he was able to find a loving family who was willing provide him this.

“He is so amazing, loving life here and doing so well with hydrotherapy! We’re into warmer weather now and having lots of days out with his friends Lee, Stitch and Gizmo. They all get along so well. Dusky really loves going to their house, it is like a 2nd home! We are taking dusky to Devon in 2 weeks, a beautiful dog friendly place near the beach and lots for him to explore too.”

We are so thankful to have adopters who are willing to take on a dog who is still undergoing treatment. Dusky dreamed of having a life outside the shelter and now, his dreams have come true.
