Can We Save Them All From the Hammer?

The Marius Doggies Shelter in Romania is asking for help to rescue 14 dogs from a pound where they are about to be killed brutally. The deadline is March 5th.

“My shelter is a bit overcrowded at the moment but can’t let this dogs to die,” Marius Dumitru pleads. “Some are old and some are young. One female is pregnant and will give bird in maximum two weeks. I am asking you all to sponsor a dog and help me get them out. They kill the dogs in horrible ways. After they do a poor shot they hit the dogs in the heads with a hammer just because the shot is not having much effect! “

The cost per dog is about $46 and includes sterilization, except for the dog who is close to giving birth.

We would be so grateful for any help for these dogs and to help us with our ongoing costs for the dogs at the Targu Neamt pound where we have been fighting a huge legal battle to stop similar cruelty in addition to the costs of food and veterinary care.
