Remember Lonnie? Slowly, slowly, he is healing, thanks to the support of people like you. Will you please join them? https://bit.ly/Love_for_Lonnie
If you missed it the first time, below is the story of how Lonnie entered our lives. This little boy is only about 5 months old but sadly, he has already discovered the hardship of life as a homeless dog in Thailand.
Lonnie was battling chronic skin problems when he was found wandering the streets. He also had a large mass on his abdomen, which was diagnosed as an umbilical hernia. He has now had successful surgery to remove this.
There is no doubt that Lonnie has suffered a great deal, but he is safe now. Imagine if there had been nowhere for him to go? Sadly, this is a very real risk and a constant threat as the Soi Dog shelter continues to operate over capacity.
Please pledge a small gift now that will help to expand the shelter space available to homeless animals, ensuring that no dogs like Lonnie are ever turned away due to a lack of space. Donate now at https://bit.ly/Love_for_Lonnie
While construction work has started on expanding the shelter and building more dog enclosures and enrichment areas, your help is desperately needed to ensure the work can continue and dogs like Lonnie can get the safe haven they urgently need.
It’s hard to believe, but Lonnie is one of the fortunate ones. Many more like him continue to suffer and desperately need help. We never want to see the day when we have to turn an animal away, but we urgently need your help to create more space.
You have the power to end the suffering for countless animals by helping to provide them with the place of healing they desperately need. Please go to https://bit.ly/Love_for_Lonnie now to donate whatever you can. Thank you.
