TWIN PALMS AND CATCH BEACH CLUB.
As a recent poster pointed out it is only fair that to hear both sides of the story. The GM there has called us and sent an e mail. Will not reprint it all but the most pertinent comments which are to be applauded are as follows;
With regards to “Mok” which I was glad to hear is better, indeed he has been a guest/neighbor/friend of Catch Beach Club for many years, in fact I believe that in the last years Soi Dog at our request visited him twice but deemed him fit enough to stay on his own. (SDF: Mork has been to SDF twice for treatment, the last time stayed a few weeks for treatment of blood parasite). Guests and staff alike have been sparsely caring for him and we surely never chasing him away from the “car park sala” which he made his home of.
In fact the person who called and was present during the “Mok” intervention is Arvid, who performs in our businesses for IT and Point of Sales support, accompanied by Ms. Lee a guests of Twinpalms Phuket. I may also want to point out that we have an engineer member of our team that has been over time caring for “Mok” bringing him food and at times medicine which he bought on his own.
Surely we could have been even more pro-active with regards to calling earlier for care this time round but I know that it was more an oversight (which I hope to be excused for) rather than any intention to hurt him or disregard his pain or trouble.
Learning from our conversation, I would be happy to make ways for those (guests) who wish to support your undertaking in our properties and join in a more efficient way (within our reach) the few hotels that you have pointed at being most pro-active.
