Vincent’s Sunday Raw Food Feasts
Tweet |
Vincent’s Sunday started with a feast of rabbit. I was afraid he might not eat it again, but he did, which is good, because I read that for kidney patients, rabbit and poultry are the preferred proteins.
I rotate among these Cubgrub flavours: Duck, Chicken and Rabbit. Vincent finally ate Quail as well, but Bunny doesn’t like it at all. So, I don’t think we would be buying Quail.
All the cats (including the Cow Clan, with no exceptions) also love Coco&Joe’s Turkey and the Chicken recipes. The one on the left is from the 1kg pack. It comes as four separately packed trays and you can cut the plastic for storage without exposing any of the food. The one on the right is their 150g packing. It is MUCH cheaper to buy the 1kg pack (comes in four trays of 250g each).
I followed Vincent out to the patio today. He has made a few stashes of soil.
Vincent had liver and heart today, along with feasts of raw food.
We bought more pebbles to top up.
Vincent’s new spot upstairs.
Subcut – he fell asleep!
So, even after being fed the renal diet as a snack, Vincent still goes out to eat soil. Maybe he isn’t lacking in minerals, but it’s just a (bad) habit?
