We recently introduced you to poor Vanilla, who was found battling the most horrendous skin problems. She’s only about a year old and her appearance simply broke our hearts. Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Vanilla to help cats like her?Vanilla will have grown up on the streets – a harsh introduction to life and the suffering that homelessness brings. She arrived at our shelter after a kind Samaritan spotted her and contacted us.To say Vanilla was struggling with skin problems would be an understatement. Her frail little body had been ravaged by one of the most severe cases of scabies we’d ever seen. She was covered in scabs and infected wounds. She was dehydrated and emaciated on arrival and just being touched caused her pain. Thanks to cat lovers like you, this frail little girl is now getting the help she desperately needed. Her recovery will be a long journey, but our vets are hopeful she will get there. She is now on medication for her skin problems, along with regular healing baths, and nutritious meals to build up her strength. None of this would be possible without the members of our Care for Cats Club.
