This is Fortis. He was found on the street by a kind Samaritan who alerted us. Fortis had been hit by a car, sustaining a very serious and extremely painful eye injury. The lady who found him took him straight to the nearest vet but, as an unowned street cat, he had no owner to help him. Will you please donate to help us help cats like Fortis? https://bit.ly/Help_Cats_Like_Fortis

Fortis was transferred to the Soi Dog shelter and into the care of our vets. Sadly, the force of the car accident had caused such trauma to his eye that it was too late to save it. This poor little boy was in terrible pain and his eye had to be removed to end his suffering and allow him to heal.

Will you please join the compassionate group of cat lovers who make up the Care for Cats Club and fund treatment for sick and injured cats like Fortis? Fortis has had surgery to remove his injured eye and he is no longer in pain. Our vets are hopeful that he will make a good recovery and this is all thanks to the kindness of people like you. The Care for Cats Club members are essential to sick and injured cats like Fortis because there is simply nowhere else for them to turn.
