I love being in the forest; it brings about a sense of peace and calmness to me. In my line of work, I am fully aware of the many risks and obstacles involved, but I would still choose to do it all day, every day. It really feels good to be a part of these efforts to conserve our tigers.
One of the major motivating factors is my drive to see Malayan tigers and other wildlife in their natural habitat – in the wild.
However, no matter how thrilled and excited I get, self care is still of utmost importance. Precaution and rules should always be followed to avoid any mishaps from occurring. Mohammad Amin bin Zikri Zainol, Wildlife Monitoring Officer
