Bern, Don And Baby Mayo Visit Yoshee!

I do believe Yoshee is friendly to cats…now, isn’t that an added bonus?

Hi Baby Mayo! Just how small are you?

He is small, isn’t he?
We don’t know his/her gender yet, actually.

Look at Yoshee. She’s like my personal bodyguard.

One little Bunny meets another Bunny?

Even the markings on their heads are the same!

Indy says “hi” too.

And of course, kittens naturally take to Uncle Bobby, as usual.

Who is peeping behind the door?

Now, you are small.

Bernice and Don said Baby Mayo was really skinny and not proportional the day they took him. The head was unusually larger than the body and he was really scrawny. He’s so much better now, after a week.

No one is left out.

Here are out-of-this-world photos taken by Donovan with his Nikon:https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/107476446834597129052/albums/5741628480298856705

Yoshee wants to be friends with everyone.

After Bern, Don and Baby Mayo left, I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Yoshee waits patiently.

This is chicken and fish stew, before blending. The veggies are carrot, celery, asparagus, kelp and pumpkin. And there’s soup as well.

I’m not sure how much a dog this size should eat, so I thought I’d give one bowl first and gauge.
Never overfeed, my vet always says.

I think Indy is quite jealous. He has been making a lot of noise.

Yoshee followed me back to the kitchen after that one bowl, and sort of asked for more.

So, here’s the second helping. She did not finish this, however, so I guess she has had enough.

She went into the garden to poo, and the stools are a wee bit soft this time. It must be the change of diet and also some of the kibbles I added in.

Indy is clearly NOT happy.

Ok, Indy, you’re a good, good boy.

Time for a walk.

Plastic bag, just in case of more poo.

Over the bull terrier case, residents have started complaining about irresponsible pet ownership and queries had come to me (from residents). They complained about all sorts of things. Every time something untoward happens involving animals, other animals get the brunt. Sigh…

Some residents are saying that they are now going out on their walks with a big stick. Oh well, all the best, then. Little do they know (or they just refuse to understand?) that dogs will only attack when provoked. A stick is viewed as a threat, especially if the human waves it at an innocent dog. And if the dog attacks, you think the stick is going to help?

Humans…I don’t know what to say.

What’s wrong with “live and let live”, “you go your way, I’ll go mine”, “I come in peace and mean you no harm” or, as simple as it may sound, how about some thoughts of kindness to everyone (humans, dogs, cats, etc.) that we meet along the way, instead of ”You dare attack me? I got a stick here!”

Why must humans always be on the defensive, I’ll never know.

Come, let’s go, Yoshee.

I thought she’d be very happy with the walk, but she wasn’t. She was very cautious and quite afraid. Guess she doesn’t feel it’s safe outside the house.

On hindsight, it may be too soon to take her out of the house, but within my garden, she was so happy prancing around when I put on the leash. I thought she’d like the walk.

She was a little scared on the road, so we made our way to the playground.

True enough, at the playground, we met the resident who said he’d be going for a walk with a big stick. Yes, we saw the big stick, alright, and we made sure we did not bump into him.

Maybe Yoshee wasn’t comfortable or she sensed the presence of the man with the big stick, so we made our way home. She was so happy as we approached the gate of my house. Yes, dogs know where it is safe.

After the walk, a nice rest.

Yoshee was found in front of Bank Al-Rajhi in SS17, Subang Jaya since Thursday morning. If she is your dog, please contact me at chankahyein@gmail.com. By 19th May, if unclaimed, Yoshee will go to her new home. My friend’s mother-in-law is adopting her.
