IT TAKES COURAGE & HEART

The emotional struggles of animal rescue are usually more powerful than the physical ones. But this past week, a small band of heroes came together in an extraordinary rescue of a dog stranded at a hydro-electric damn in Bosnia.

“The boys from GSS Jablanica with our Amira Kovač, will try to save the dog. They don’t know how the dog will react. They will try to approach with boats and descend at the same time with ropes towards him!” beloved rescuer Caki Bravo reported from the scene.

At the time that the rescue began, there were heavy downpours and rising water. The dog did turn out to be terrified of approaching humans, but patience and bravery won out in the end.
