Make a beeline to Kraftangan Malaysia Handicraft Bazaar at Kuching Waterfront today till November 19, and check out authentic Sarawak handicraft by indigenous communities from different parts of the state. As part of WWF-Malaysia’s community engagement and empowerment work in Kubaan-Puak Forest Management Units, Ulu Tutoh, it is collaborating with Kraftangan Malaysia and Tanoti Sdn Bhd to promote rattan handicraft by Penan artisans from the area. These rattan handicraft ranging from bangles to headbands, baskets, mats, coasters, etc. are made from natural dyes. Do visit our booth and the Penan artisans, Rita Kut, Liza Niyek, Connie Gadung and Johani Ting.
