Animal Rescue Officer Khun Wanchai enjoys some cuddle time with dogs picked up for sterilisation on the island of Koh Samui.

A 7 hour journey from the Soi Dog shelter, Koh Samui is home to approximately 10,000 unsterilised dogs. Soi Dog Foundation is now on the island,with a series of mobile spay/neuter clinics that will cover 7 districts and 39 villages.

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
