My Name Is Drossel. I Need A New Home!

*NEW HOME NEEDED* Im in Seattle! US and Canada people please share my story!

Please email all questions to inga@soidog.org!

Hi my name is Drossel. I am only around 4-5 years old but my life has been far from ordinary. I was rescued from the streets of Thailand in April 2016 after being hit by a car.

The car accident caused my brain to swell and the bones in my neck were partially dislocated. My future looked bleak. At first I could only lie down. But as the vets continued with my treatment, I was able to sit, then stand, and then finally walk again!

The accident left me with a condition called ataxia, which means I wobble slightly when I walk. I also hold my head higher than the other dogs, but the people I meet say that gives me even more character and makes me special.

After living at Soi Dog Foundations shelter in Phuket for 15 months, I travelled to my new home in Seattle/USA in early August. Unfortunately I didnt get along with the adopters resident dogs. So I am now in foster care.

My foster dad loves me very much and I get along with his three dogs. But to be honest, I dont need doggy friends to be happy. So a home of my own would be wonderful.

My foster dad says that I am housetrained and love belly rubs and walkies. I ignore other dogs on walks and just mind my own business. I also love to snooze in the sun and roll in soil. A home with a garden would be my dream.

I had a recent dental cleaning and all my vaccinations are up to date. I currently live in Seattle, USA. You live close by? Great. You could even come for a visit! You dont? No problem. I am more than happy to fly to my new forever home in the USA or Canada.

If you can give me a home, please email inga@soidog.org to find out how to adopt me!
