WATER TUBS FOR THIRSTY ANIMALS

Again this year, we’re hoping to sponsor the expansion of a watering project for animals in India. Tubs are distributed in key locations and volunteers fill them daily with fresh water. By sponsoring our animal rescue partners at PFA Faridabad, we’re literally supplying life to many hundreds of animals who would otherwise be in grave danger of deyhdration of even death. Faridabad is the largest city in the north Indian state of Haryana and incredibly hot.

Last year, hundreds of people died in India when the country was struck by drought and temperatures as high as 124 degrees Fahrenheit (51 degrees Celsius). The year before was even more extreme. The tubs are in demand day and night with many species of animals turning to them for a drink or simply to cool their bodies.
