I am a 6-7 year old girl called Charley and I am a sweet, loving inspiration of a dog. I got admitted to the Soi Dog shelter as I had been hit by a car. An injury to my hind leg was so severe, that the vets at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand had no choice but to amputate it. The doctors also discovered that I was blind and that my eyes were very painful, so they had to remove them.

I learned to cope with being 3-legged and not being able to see and I certainly don�t dwell on the past. I am a fun and playful character who likes nothing more than to be made a fuss of. I have a smile on my face all day too. I have been told I am resilient and brave, which I suppose considering what I have been through, I am.

When visitors come into my run, I yodel in delight to see them, follow their voices and am the first in line for pats. I always hope that they will take me to a walk. I do well on the lead, considering that I am blind. I love affection and it would be a shame to spend the rest of my days in the shelter. It is my dream to experience family life in a home where I am loved. To be protected and looked after by good people.
