6.25am Still Unwilling To Come Down
Tweet |
I woke up at 5.30am this morning.
The first thing I did was to go out to the road and look at that spot. I called. Daffi wasn’t there.
So I fed everyone.
Then, I went out again.
She was there.
Sitting on our roof, looking at me.
So I looked at her and she looked at me. I called her.
I brought out the kibble jar and shook it.
She just stared at me.
I brought Ginger out with me, hoping it might have a reaction.
Nothing.
She just continued looking at us from her spot on the roof.
We left food and water on the roof last night. Before going to bed, we checked and only a little bit had been eaten.
Last night, she strutted across the roof, by-passed our open window and went from roof to roof, so I doubt she is “stuck” in any way. If she could jump from our roof to the neighbour’s roof (using the ledge), she could have easily gone onto the ledge to come back.
She doesn’t want to come back. And yet she is nearby. And she comes out when I call her.
Why is this happening? I really don’t know.
I fear calling Bomba would offend her Calico pride so much that she would run away, even further, and we might never see her again.
