4 REASONS TO ADOPT A BLACK DOG, 4 REASONS TO ADOPT FON PRAM

Please email inga@soidog.org to find out more!

The ‘Big Black Dog Syndrome’ is a phenomenon in which black dogs are passed over for adoption in favor of lighter-colored animals. Well…Fon Pram isn’t exactly big, weighing 17 kg/37 lbs but she sure has a lush black coat! Her sweet, gentle nature makes it hard for her to stand out from the crowd and so she is often overlooked by potential adopters. Please give Fon Pram a chance as you consider the 4 reasons to adopt a black dog like her:

#1 Always in Style. Black is always en vogue. Black doesn’t clash with any color you might choose for their collars or bandanas. Everything goes!

#2 Warm in winter. Even a bit of winter sun is enough for these black beauties to become warm and toasty = perfect snuggle buddy.

#3 They hide dirt well. Black dogs are not dirt-repellent (sorry) but they simply look clean for longer!

#4 The real reason! Black dogs are just as loving as brown, white, blue, or cream dogs. So please consider adopting one. Please choose Fon Pram!

Fon Pram (now 10 months old) has been at the Soi Dog shelter here in Phuket, Thailand all her life. She came to the shelter as a small puppy because she was simply unwanted and unloved. She gets on well with the other dogs, is very submissive and walks away if trouble is about to start.

Please give this gentle dog the home she so deserves. Please email inga@soidog.org to start the adoption process.

Fon Pram is happy to travel to the USA, Canada, Europe or the UK if you have a home for her on offer.
