I am a street dog.

I live and sleep on the streets. Awhile back, my fur began falling out in chunks. I would scratch and scratch but my itchy skin never got better. It only got worse. Soon my body, my legs, and my head were covered in painful scales.

Often people look at me with pity. It�s true, I�m a sad sight. They think they can�t help me�I�m just an unlucky and unloved street dog. But people can help me and other street dogs. The vets say I have a bad case of mange, and I also have anaemia. My eyes didn�t look so good, either. Now I�m getting medicine for parasites. I�ll get regular baths to soothe and heal my skin. I have only been at the shelter for 3 days but the pain I�d felt for so long is already fading. Here at the shelter I even have a name. They call me Argon.
