Rosies Morning (Day 27)
Tweet | ![]() |
Last night, I slept like a log.
This morning, I woke up at around 6.45am and guess what, Rosie was sitting next to the bed and the moment I woke up, she mewed loudly.
By now, I more or less know what each “mew” means.
Rosie wants food. And kibble has already been her favourite food.
So I quickly offered Tuscan….
She ate!
Then, she looked up – she wants another flavour.
Ok, sure, Rosie.
So all in, Rosie ate one small helping of Tuscan, two small helpings of RC Sensible and a little of bit Go! Trout.
Our Kibble Queen!
Then, I came downstairs to feed the rest.
And Rosie came down on her own too.
She came to join everyone in the kitchen and mewed.
I offered various types of wetfood, but I didn’t quite get it right this time.
She nudged at the Cindy’s box, but it wasn’t Cindy’s that she wanted too.
Of course, Heidi and Ginger ate up all the food that I offered Rosie.
Daffodil still doesn’t recognise Rosie despite my rubbing Ginger’s smell on her. But I think I just have to do it more frequently.
I’m currently using AD to feed Rosie her meds and supplements. She loves AD now…and later, we will have to change it to something else.
Along with the wetfood, I also sprinkle wheatgrass powder, Transfer Factors (the advanced plus one) and Stemtech, so that she gets a little bit of it throughout the day. The good thing with Rosie is that she is willing to take all the powder-laced wetfood. That really makes it so much “easier” to nurse her.
If (touchwood) it had been Cow, I would probably have a few fingers bitten off by now. If it were Cleo or Pole – you cannot even get anything into their mouths (they think you are trying to poison them). Both will probably jump up the ledge so high and remain there for the entire day.
But Rosie’s really a very good girl. Even her vet said so when she was hospitalised for a day on drips.
Rosie wanted to go out (this, I understood).
So, we took a trip out on the harness.
It was all peaceful and nice until…
Yups, Rosie’s nemesis…..
Look at those eyes.
Zurik is bent on bullying Rosie. It’s just one of those things in life, you know. And Rosie is terrified of Zurik. She flees for her life whenever she sees him.
So yes, we got to go back inside, Rosie. Let’s go.
But instead of running, Rosie growled.
Our girl has spunk. You go, girl!
Since Ginger was in at the patio, I decided to put Rosie in the cage to get some fresh air and sunlight.
That blue towel is Ginger’s. He sleeps on it a lot.
When I checked just now, Rosie was fast asleep on the blue towel. Hopefully she will get Ginger’s smell on her.
Operation Unite is on.
We will be going for acupuncture this afternoon. Connie is giving us a ride. Thanks, Connie!
