Hi, my name is Malone. I am a golden girl of around 9 years of age. I am one of the sweetest dogs you will meet here at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand. I love people and I just want to be as close to them as possible. I could spend hours lying on laps or dozing in the grass alongside my favourite volunteer.

I was admitted to the shelter after I became the victim of a road traffic accident. The accident luxated my hip but the vets here could thankfully fix that. However they were shocked by what the performed x-rays revealed: my spine had been broken at one point of my life and without any medical help it fused naturally. This old injury makes me walk in a slightly crouched position with my rear end slightly lower than my front. My condition will have to be managed with pain medication.

I live in the moment, so I won�t let my injuries bring me down. I just like to take it slower on walks. But perhaps you do too? We could just relax on a bench together and watch people go past, even feed some ducks. We could also snooze in the park on a sunny day. I am well up for that. But you have to promise me one thing: hold me. Hold me close and never let go.

I would be amazing as the only cuddlebug in the house but I could also live with another gentle dog who respects personal space. I can easily travel to the USA, Canada, UK or Europe, please make me part of your family!
