Insufficient Stampsagain! Put 80 Sen Stamps, Please!!!
We have told applicants repeatedly that 60 sen stamps is insufficient, especially if you unknowingly exceed the weight, use coloured envelopes or non-standard sized envelopes, but time and time again, applicants insist on putting only 60 sen stamps.
Save 20 sen? But at the end of the day, you don’t get the RM60 aid. Please….
This application’s receipt is dated 4th Feb 2017, but posted on 15th Feb 2017. It only arrived yesterday (20th Feb 2017), which means, it is already late.
We do not pay any aid for late applications and applications with insufficient stamps. Our mails arrive at our mail collection point which is our friend’s shop and she has to pay the tax due to insufficient stamps. We think this is really very, very unreasonable of the applicant, especially when reminders have been issued again and again, and again and again.
So, no, we will not pay.
Each application will be considered on a case-by-case basis and depends on fund availability. Applications are only processed upon receipt of full documentation. We retain sole discretion to decide on the amount or not to provide (without need to give reasons for such decision).
If an applicant MUST post the application late or insist on putting only 60 sen stamps, please save your money and do not post it.
Thank you.
