THEY TIED A RUBBER BAND AROUND MY LEG AND LEFT ME TO SUFFER

My name is Asher. I am a handsome boy of about 3 years of age but, having been born on the streets of Thailand, I’ve never had a home of my own or a human to care for me. My days were spent scavenging for food; my nights trying to find somewhere safe to sleep. I was all alone in the world.

Who knows why somebody decided to tie a rubber band around one of my legs one day? They were able to walk away and leave me after committing that terrible act, and that was the beginning of my suffering. I was a bit smaller at the time, but as I got bigger, that horrible band squeezed tighter and tighter. It buried itself deep in my flesh, ripping it open and leaving a deep and extremely painful wound.

Will you please help animals like me? The homeless dogs and cats of Asia have nobody if we don’t have you on our side. But if you join Soi Dog’s Emergency Response Team, you will be helping to end the suffering for so many of us. To learn more, please click here now >>> https://ert.soidog.org/

A kind lady found me one day, as I fought to get that excruciating band off my leg. A terrible infection had set in to the wound on my paw and it was infested with maggots. My suffering at this point had become unbearable. The pain I was in meant that I refused to let the lady near me. I didn’t understand she was trying to help me and I ran away every time she tried to get close. Thankfully she didn’t give up on me but called the Soi Dog shelter. I was picked up shortly after by an Animal Rescue Officer.

Thanks to the compassionate animal lovers who are funding all my medical treatment, I am safe in the care of the vets now. They gently removed that terrible elastic band from my leg and the wound on my paw was flushed out and cleaned. I am on pain relief and antibiotics for the dangerous infection that had taken hold, and those horrible weeks of pain are gradually becoming a distant memory.

None of this would be possible without the members of the Emergency Response Team. This small group of special people donate every month for the rescue and medical care of sick and injured street animals that have nobody caring for them. Will you please go to https://ert.soidog.org/ to join them, so that more of us can be helped?

There are many others like me, still out there and still suffering in so many ways. They have been abused or abandoned, they are sick or injured. You are the only hope they have. Will you please take action now so that they can be helped?

A small monthly gift from you will mean the difference between life and death for so many. Please help. Go to https://ert.soidog.org/ now to join the Emergency Response Team and change the world for another suffering animal.

Thank you.
