New Stepping Stones And The Toad Family
Tweet |
Recently, we added 2×2 stepping stones in Bunny’s Garden.
The cats love the new stepping stones.
There are now stepping stones leading a path all the way from the pantry to the sandpit (toilet) at the end of the garden so there is a proper walkway without having to step on the grass.
Some months back, I’ve noticed tiny little toads living at the sandpit. There were really tiny, and now they have grown into adult-sized toads. I think they eat up the flies from the sandpit (biological control, the circle of life). I haven’t seen any flies at the sandpit.
And yesterday, there were two more tiny little toads. Really, really tiny ones. About 5mm wide.
The cats don’t harm the toads at all. In fact, Cow plays with them.
I watched this toad grow up over the months. There are two of them.
Here he is.
The toad family is our fly-control patrol team.
