Jacqueline Pianta shared a very touching story of her mum last Friday, after we shared our adopter’s furkids. Here’s what she wrote to us:-
My mum has never been an animal person, let alone adopting any dogs. After much considerations in late 2014, my mum had agreed to adopt Imau from SSPCA’s Adoption Campaign at Boulevard. Later on, my mum adopted her second dog, Scooby, from her friend.
One day, my mum found a dog laying on the road after a hit-and-run. She called our local council, MBKS, to pick up the dog. My mum later checked with SSPCA whether the dog was sent to shelter. My eventually adopted the dog, and named him ‘Burak’, means ‘fair’ in Iban.
Although not all dogs came from shelter, but because of Imau, my mum has opened up her heart, to love and help the voiceless in whatever ways she can. Our home is filled with so much loves.
Merry Christmas to all our furry friends and staff at SSPCA. May this new year be a wonderful year filled with paws of holy! And, furry and bright!
We also found that Jacqueline is residing in Australia with her rescued dogs, Dingo & Kari, from Saving Animals From Euthanasia (SAFE) Australia.
