The Young Padawan Learns Well
Tweet |
After Tiger’s first lesson to his young padawans (Ginger and Rosie), Ginger was unexpectedly put to the test a few days ago.
Bunny was out for his trip (to survey and conquer) and he happened to come across poor Ginger sitting in the basket. Bunny wasted no time in posturing and towering above Ginger and let out his terrifying war-cry.
What did Ginger do?
Ginger did not move a muscle. He just kept very, very still. As cool as a cucumber, believe it or not?
That’s the wisest thing to do, actually. Do NOT respond. If you fight back, you are no match for Bunny. If you run, Bunny will give chase and you are also no match for him. So, the wisest is to just stay very, very still.
Jia-Wen quickly threw the Carebears blankie over Bunny and the moment that happened, Ginger ran for his life!
Now, that’s wise too. When you get the chance to escape, of course you must. Life is precious. Unless you have the Jedi-ability to tame the bully, it’s wiser to escape when an opportunity arises.
It was very smart of Ginger to only run after Bunny had been covered with the blankie.
Smart move, young padawan!
A debriefing session between the master and the padawan, witnessed by a proud mum.
Yes, there are snacks too!
Tiger: You have passed the first test, young padawan. There will be many more. There is much to learn, but you will learn. I am proud of you, padawan!
Oops….tee hee, I haven’t learnt much…I was just hoping I’d get to wear a nice robe.
Tee hee…
