LOOKING FOR A CAREER IN WILDLIFE RESCUE AND ANIMAL WELFARE?

WE ARE HIRING WILDLIFE RESCUE OFFICERS!

As part of the team which is on call 24/7 and which has rescued over 3,000 wild animals, you will be on the forefront of wildlife protection in Singapore. You will also provide optimal care for rescued animals at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre, Singapores only dedicated wildlife rescue centre.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference for the animals and the community. If you or know of individuals who understand that this work is not an easy task, but requires patience, clear communication skills, commitment and willing to work weekends, public holidays and night shifts on a roster basis, please visit http://acres.org.sg/wildlife-rescue/our-careers/ to learn more.

Kalai, our Group Director for Wildlife who started his journey with ACRES 6 years ago as a wildlife rescue volunteer shared, “Before ACRES, I never knew our tiny island is home to such a variety of fauna. But we have our challenges. As we urbanise even more, we need to foster a sense of tolerance amongst the community here and raise awareness about the variety of wildlife here. Every animal is a sentient being, common or rare and it is important that we cultivate that love for animals in the society. Our team is always on the go attending to animals in need whilst educating the community about wildlife and do our best to get as much help as possible for these animals. From learning to identifying different species, to being able to decide what is best for the animals, it is a journey of discovery.”

If you are ready for this journey and willing to commit for at least 2 years with our ACRES team, please write to us with your cover letter and resume at info@acres.org.sg!

Please also note that class 3 driving license is a requirement for this position.
