FROSTY – A PERFECT FIT FOR THE CHEW FAMILY

The Chew family adopted Frosty (previously known as Rick), a lop ear rabbit, from SPCA just before Christmas 2015.

Frosty was initially jittery like most prey animals and would nip the family if they tried to carry him. However, over time, he settled down, relaxed and familiarised himself with the family!

Being litter trained, Frosty roams freely in the Chew family’s living room and is often seen lounging around next to the window, enjoying his spot in the sun. Frosty entertains the family at dinner time by darting around the house and doing the occasional binkie.

The Chew family recently even managed to train him to run to them for treats!

The Chew family has this to say of Frosty, “Our lives are enriched, because of this little creature we welcomed into our home and we hope that his is too!”

If you have adopted an animal from us and have a story to share , please email your story to education@spca.org.sg, alongside with a short write-up of your experiences with the new member of the family and photos to go with the story.

We look forward to hearing from you.
