SWEET BRINDLE GIRL WHO JUST WANTS TO FEEL SAFE. Will you please ADOPT me? Email all questions to teresa@soidog.org

My name is Caphu. I have been through so much in my life. I was born on the tough streets of Thailand. I was just a tiny puppy when my mum died. A kind local person realised there was no way I could survive on my own, and so he brought me to Soi Dogs shelter in Phuket, Thailand.

I grew up in the shelter. I was never the top dog in my enclosure. I kept myself out of trouble and waited my turn for a walk. Sometimes I was a bit nervous of all the strange smells and sounds outside of the enclosure, but the volunteers were patient with me and helped me gain confidence.

I spent 4 years at the shelter and then travelled to the UK to what I thought was my forever home. Sadly, this didnt work out and a very kind lady has been fostering me since May 2016. But this lady cant take care of me forever, and lots of people have been working hard to find the right home for me.

I am a healthy young lady aged around 5 years old. I have a shiny bridle coat which Im told is very distinctive! Because I have been through so much, my confidence has taken a knock. I am very wary of some men. I would do best with a female owner or with a couple who are willing to take the time and patience needed to settle me into their home. Ive experienced so many new situations, but I do find them a challenge and sometimes I get overwhelmed. Quite often Im frightened by strange dogs, but not all the time. The lady who is fostering me has a lovely male Soi Dog and we get along fine. Hes a good leader for me and I gain confidence from him.

I hope there is someone out there who is willing to help me gain confidence over time. I know I can do it with the right support.

Im the kind of dog who really wants to please you. I like nothing better than a cuddle on the sofa, and Ive picked up lots of commands from the foster lady! I love playing in a sunny garden, and boy do I love digging!

Can you open your heart and your home to a girl who has already been through so much? Can you please adopt me and finally give me the forever home I deserve? I am already in the UK, so I hope to find someone here or in Europe so I dont have to travel very far.

Please contact teresa@soidog.org to find out more.
