Did you know what one of the biggest ways you can help suffering dogs and cats is by becoming a member of our Emergency Response Team? This team funds life-saving medical treatment for animals that would otherwise die through lack of care. Thanks to this special group, countless lives are saved each year.

Will you please save more by going to http://ert.soidog.org/ to join the team now?

In addition to helping homeless street animals, Soi Dog Foundation is regularly called upon to fund medical treatment for owned animals where the owner simply cannot afford the high cost of treatment. One such recent case was Poj, the dog run over by a taxi in Bangkok. Despite such horrific trauma, Poj was lucky to escape with no broken bones or nerve damage, but did sustain bruises all over her body, particularly her hip, making walking painful. She was also diagnosed with anaemia and blood parasites and has also been started on treatment for these. The members of our Emergency Response Team are vital for animals like this. Without them, we simply could not cover the costs associated with cases like this.

Poj is now recovering and receiving fluids, pain relief, anti-inflammatory drugs, and supplements.

Despite receiving numerous reports about her situation from members of the public, she is just one case of many that week alone. Not all of them make it on to the internet but they are all real and they all need help. Without urgent medical treatment, many suffering animals will die in agony. We cannot let this happen but we desperately need your support.

Please join the Emergency Response Team now so that sick and injured dogs and cats get the treatment they need and deserve. Your membership will bring an end to suffering for countless animals that have nowhere else to turn. Without you, they simply won’t make it. Please help them. Please go to http://ert.soidog.org/ to join the Emergency Response Team now.

Thank you.
