Combined, these schools raised over $750 for ACRES through their market days.

ACRES relies on donations from the public, and this money will go a long way towards helping animals!

Donations to ACRES are put to good use in a variety of ways � including funding the care for rescue wild animals at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC). Pictured below is Joey, a rescued Chinese softshell turtle. The amount raised by the two schools could go towards making sure that she – and other animals in the sanctuary � get the best care possible, including enrichment, fresh food, and the veterinary care they need.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
