Vincent (after 2 Weeks)

Yesterday was two weeks after Vincent’s molar extraction.

Every day that Vincent can eat comfortably is a blessing, so two weeks is indeed, a greater blessing.

So far, he has been eating well. In fact, his appetite is very good. He even comes to the kitchen to ask for food.

I think I could have pampered him with wetfood, so sometimes he refuses to eat kibble (during snack time). He just stares at the kibble, as though saying, “And pray tell, WHAT are you feeding me?”

So I have to quickly offer wetfood and he will happily eat everything up (you could even sprinkle some kibble on top and even that is eaten up!).

I only give them Tuscan or Go!, both of which are grain-free kibble, but of course nothing beats wetfood (he eats Monge, Primal, Natural Balance and Coco & Joe’s BARF).

Every morning, I give Vincent Plaque Off and Transfer Factor Advanced Plus, mixed in his food. I hope this can keep the stomatitis under control.

I’ve consulted a few vets on feline stomatitis and they all say the same thing: It’s very complicated and it all depends largely on what works for the each cat.

Vincent has very good appetite and licks up the other bowls too.
