A Shihtzu Visits

Hello there…may I come in, please?

This is Dodo, Connie’s Shih Tzu. They came a-visiting today.

Tabs wasn’t sure if she’s allowed to admit a dog…

Indy was asleep.

So was Bunny.

But Ginger appears to be interested in the visitor.

It took a long time for Dodo to move from under the table, to under my chair, and then, to here…facing Ginger.

Ginger threw caution to the wind, but Daffodil was keeping a keen eye on things.

Dodo knows Daffodil is watching.

Do you see Rosie? She’s right outside the front door.

Can we be friends?

Connie thinks it is because Ginger looks a bit like Sheriff Callie, which happens to be Dodo’s favourite TV programme.

Sheriff Callie is a calico cat who rides a horse.

It took awhile for Dodo to inch forward, gradually.

Checking with the mum, Daffodil.

May I make friends with your son? 

Closer, closer…

But finally it was time for Dodo to go home.

A quick family conference after the visitor left.

And Heidi comes back too.

Vincent was outside under the car and he made some noise when Dodo walked out.

Mr Zurik was….around. But he didn’t make any scene.
