There was a time when l Iived on a forested hillside above a Phuket beach, until the day I stepped into an illegal snare in the bush. I will never forget the agony and the terror I felt as I fought to free my leg.

The more I struggled, the more painful it got. Eventually I did manage to get free, but my leg was so seriously injured it had to be amputated when I arrived here at Soi Dog.

My time as a stray dog has made me a very nervous boy, which was only made worse by my terrible experience. I am very scared of humans and this means I cannot be adopted right now. YOU can still help me. Please visit www.soidog.org to SPONSOR me!

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
