PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS TOOK THE INITIATIVE TO HELP ACRES!

After their exams ended late last year, Claire, Cheryl, Alyssa, Zenein, Chiron and Anya came to the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC) to find out how they could do something to help animals. These six students from Nanyang Primary School took the initiative to organise a fundraising event for ACRES, as they are very passionate about helping animals.

Aside from selling ACRES merchandise and exhibiting posters that they made themselves, they designed their own bookmarks and files which they sold to raise additional funds.

These six fantastic animal advocates spent a total of 39 hours on this project and raised an amazing $ 912 for the animals! They also did a fantastic job raising awareness about ending animal cruelty, reaching out to the whole school with the message of how each individual can make a positive difference for animals.

Our heartfelt thanks goes to Nanyang Primary School for being so supportive towards their students project and ACRES. And thank you Claire, Cheryl, Alyssa, Zenein, Chiron and Anya for your excellent efforts!
