YOU ARE THE ONLY HOPE I HAVE OF KNOWING HAPPINESS

I was only 3 months old when I was hit by a car. Just another street dog of Thailand, born with no human to care for me and nowhere to call home. My name is Liam.

When they spotted me lying by the side of the road, they weren’t sure if I was even still alive. It was only as they got closer that they heard my pitiful cries and realised how much pain I was in.

I had to be sent first for an x-ray, which confirmed I had fractured my right back leg. I was lucky to be alive after that traumatic accident. Thanks to people like you, when I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after my x-ray, the vets here were able to care for me and I was also given medication so I was no longer in pain.

I am now doing something called physiotherapy, which is helping me walk again. Although I was scared when I first arrived, I have now blossomed into a happy little boy who has learnt to trust the humans caring for me.

None of this would be possible without people like you. I am one of the lucky ones and the vets hope I will make a full recovery and eventually find my forever home. But what of the others? The sick, injured, abused or abandoned street dogs and cats have nobody if they don’t have you. There is no other source of funding for them; you are the only hope they have.

Will you please commit to helping animals like me? A small monthly gift from you will save and transform thousands of lives every year. No amount is too small to make a difference. Will you please click my picture now to help animals that simply have nobody else to ask?

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
