SAVE DOGS FROM TORTURE AND SLAUGHTER

FIRST, THEY ATE MY MOTHER

All my siblings followed soon after. We were a family of stray dogs living near immigrants from a country that likes to eat dog meat. I was next in line to be slaughtered. My name is Oleander and I am only 3 months old.

Somehow, I got away. I ran as fast as my little legs could carry me, but I had no idea that danger still lay ahead. Racing into a busy street, I was immediately hit by a car. My screams pierced the air as the force of the impact fractured one of my back legs. I was left by the side of the road, unable to move.

A kind lady who heard my screams came running. Although I was shaking with fear, I let her pick me up and take me to the Soi Dog shelter. I was in unbearable pain and the vets battled to save me. Without people like you, I would be dead.

I am slowly recovering from my ordeal. My leg is healing and I am learning to trust people again. I have had the most traumatic start in life but thanks to people like you, I am now safe.

Please help Soi Dog end the dog meat trade. Only with your support can the torture and slaughter of innocent dogs like me be brought to an end. So much has been achieved already, but the people who do this are organised criminals and more funds are needed to tackle them head-on.

Will you please sign up to fight the dog meat trade and save dogs like me? A small monthly gift from you to this crucial campaign will go so much further in Asia. Please help. Click on my picture now to join the fight.

Thank you.
