I AM A SURVIVOR OF THE DOG MEAT TRADE. PLEASE ADOPT ME.

Please EMAIL all questions and enquiries to alex@soidog.org

My name is Loki and I am a 6 year old boy. The following is my story.

I was snatched from the street. I was crushed into a metal cage with ten other dogs. Hundreds of these cages, all filled with petrified dogs, were hurled onto a big truck. They drove us in the dead of night towards the border.

I am bigger than a normal-sized dog and it hurt being in the metal cage with so many others. Where were these people taking me? Why were there so many of us?

I could hear the younger dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border – with what lay ahead for us, they were the lucky ones.

When the truck was suddenly pulled over and we were rescued thanks to people like you, I was still scared. I didn’t know who to trust anymore.

Now I am getting back to my old self and I am a sweet, calm, friendly boy. I do long for the day when I am adopted. I see many dogs leaving for their new homes and I hope this will be me soon. Can YOU make it happen?

Can you give me my forever home?

Please ADOPT me. EMAIL all questions and enquiries to alex@soidog.org
