My sister and I were callously dumped when we were just seven weeks old. I am Mariko.

Too small to survive such a cruel world on our own, my sister and I were brought to the Soi Dog shelter by the kind person who found us.

My sister was the braver of the two of us and she was soon adopted. Sadly, I am very shy and nervous of people, which means I need a lot more work before I can be adopted.

I feel safe here at the shelter, but I know it takes a lot to look after hundreds of us. For this reason, Soi Dog have made October Sponsorship Month, in the hope that YOU will join the Sponsor Club.
