Help Cats Like Nexus - Join The Care For Cats Club

Did you know that thanks to supporters, Soi Dog also rescues, spays and neuters and cares for thousands of cats each year?

Nexus is just one of the thousands of cats helped by Soi Dog each year. Found by regular volunteer Nina, Nexus was only a small, defenceless little kitten. He was found wandering along the street in the tourist area of Nai Yang Beach.

Nina could not bear to leave him alone on the street, so brought him to Soi Dog to be kept safe while she asked locals if anyone would adopt him. Nexus was quite ill when he arrived at the shelter, with intestinal worms and skin problems. Life would have been miserable for him had he not been helped and treated.

Nina’s search for a loving home locally for Nexus proved fruitless, so already smitten with this little guy, Nina decided to adopt him herself. As Nina lives in Switzerland, Nexus has had to stay at the shelter for his 3 month quarantine as required in Europe, but will soon be departing to be reunited with his guardian angel and to begin his new life.

Thanks to the Soi Dog supporters who have joined our Care for Cats Club, Nexus was rescued and given a second chance at a happy life.

This is what we want for every street cat we rescue but it just can’t happen without you.

Please join our Care for Cats Club to help so many cats in need: your donation will help us buy food, medicines and to spay and neuter more cats, thereby avoiding the unwanted birth of kittens that would end up living a miserable life on the streets.
