Gifts By Donation: The Carebears Blue Blankie

Carebears is always a favourite!

One of our readers requested for a blue blanket, so I showed her the Blue Carebears donated by Joy Saga and she said “yes!”.

Both these pieces are donated by Joy. Thank you very much, Joy!

I decided on something simple using big pieces of the Carebears so that the bears can be seen.

The pieces are joined up with a stripey blue cloth from our own stash.

This piece is supervised by Tiger!

My mum will sew the backing and Carebears Blue will be off to her new home (as a cat blanket too!).

We thank our reader very much for her donation to our Fund and we hope her cats will enjoy the blanket!

For those who are interested in Carebears, we have Carebears in pink, green and remnants in beige and blue too! However, please give us the leeway of deciding on the design since this is, after all, about patchwork and making use of patches of cloth so that nothing goes to waste.
