My name is Awasorn and I am a boy of about 2 years of age. Born on the streets of Thailand, never knowing what it was to have an owner to care for me, just trying to survive was a daily battle. The day I got hit by the speeding car, I thought it was all over for me.

The agony in my back leg was unbearable and I was so scared of what would become of me. I can�t remember how long I�d been lying there when the truck stopped and a man got out. That was the day my world changed, for he was an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog.

I was whimpering with pain by the time I arrived at the shelter, where the vets found a large open wound on my right back leg. The wound went right down to the bone and my paw was horribly swollen.

Thanks to people like YOU, the vets were able to treat me and after three days in their care, I jumped out of my kennel at feeding time and was once more walking on all four legs. I had been saved by Soi Dog supporters.

It really doesn�t take a lot to help sick and injured dogs like me but if we don�t have you on our side, we have nobody. Just a few dollars a week will save hundreds of animals like me every year.
