Happy World Forestry Day! Today is a day to commemorate the contribution and value of forests and forestry to the community.

Forests have significant economic and ecological value from supporting biodiversity, providing clean water supply, food security and soil stability, as well as supporting local livelihoods. Moreover, it is important to conserve our forests because they are vital carbon sinks which help regulate the climate.
