We thank the Bukit Timah Wildlife Network for the positive partnership between grassroots and NGOs which aims to educate the public on-site on the importance of not feeding the wildlife, especially macaques, when visiting the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
Earlier this afternoon, a certificate presentation ceremony was held to recognise the completion of the outreach sessions by the 1st batch of the Wildlife Ambassador.
The Wildlife Network, endorsed by Ms Sim Ann, Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of Education, not only allow the student volunteers to understand the damages littering can do, but also to allow them to communicate and bring awareness to the general public on the importance of responsibility to protect the heritage of Singapore.
The next outreach will be conducted in November at Dairy Farm. If you keen to make a difference, drop a mail to btwln.yec@gmail.com
