(Let us tell a partial short story -meat free, veggie Thursdays #eggfarmingtoday)
‘Mothers of the eggs are crammed so closely together that these normally clean animals are forced to urinate and defecate on one another.
The stench of ammonia and fecal hangs heavy in the air, and disease breaks loose rampantly in the filthy, cramped tight cages and spaces. Many mothers die, and the ‘unfortunate’ survivors are often forced to live with their dead and dying cagemates, who are sometimes left to rot, did you know?’
