From July 2012 to June 2013, 21,000 Green turtle eggs were saved in Terengganu, compared to 14,000 in 2011. In Melaka, 59,000 Hawksbill eggs were incubated compared to 41,000 in 2012. These statistics mean that the efforts of the heroic Turtle Guardians are paying off.

There were also Hawksbill hatchlings in Terengganu last year, an occurence that hasn’t happened for the past 19 years in mainland Terengganu!
